Learn from Pandemic

At the opening, managing director Micha Van Lin remarked as follows.

“We have learned from the pandemic the importance of digitization such as Network care or Virtual care etc. by developing Public-private partnership and finally the importance of disease prevention.”

The central mission for the societal theme health and care developed by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport for the Dutch cabinet’s mission-driven top sectors and innovation policy has been presented as a guideline for many European countries. This ambitious mission states

“Five more years of healthy living for everyone” by 2040.

High-quality prevention and care are important source of knowledge and experience that are vital for realizing these missions.

Disease prevention significantly reduces the health care burden.

The average life span is getting longer but according to ISTAT and EUROSTAT statistics in the last 10 years of life most people are bedridden or need assistance.

This conference was a confirmation that contributing to disease prevention and extending the healthy life years is our mission.
